Jiwon(G1) Kim is a production sound recordist,
sound designer and re-recording mixer
based in London/Seoul, with a career built
entirely around the craft of immersive sound.

A graduate of Korea National University of Arts (KNUA / K-Arts),
she is an award-winning location sound and designer
whose work has been recognised at prestigious
international festivals across multiple countries.

Her professional experience spans film production and post, live broadcast
at KBS and MBC, Korea's national broadcasters, exhibitions, theatre and international
co-productions across Europe.

She specialises in immersive, detail-driven
sound recording and design that shape how stories are felt
as much as heard whether on screen or on stage.

She is currently expanding her practice
through a Master's programme in Goldsmiths, University of London,
where she continues to develop her craft and collaborate on new work.
